CENTRAL MARIN POLICE ONLINE REPORTING SYSTEM

Welcome to the Central Marin Police Authority's Online Police Reporting System. If this is an Emergency, dial 9-1-1.  Using this online reporting system allows you to submit certain types of reports easily and at your own convenience. If you prefer to make a report over the phone or have an officer respond, please call 415-927-5150.  You must be 18 years or older to file an online report.

You may file the following types of reports online:

  • Check Fraud
  • Documentation of Civil Dispute, Dog Bite, etc.
  • Fraud - property or credit/debit card
  • Harassing Phone Calls
  • Identity Theft
  • Lost Property
  • Hit and Run Vehicle Collision - no injury
  • Vehicle Collision - property damage only
  • Shoplifting - for retail merchant use only
  • Special Needs Registry
  • Theft - including bicycles
  • Theft From a Vehicle
  • Vandalism
  • Vehicle Burglary - requires forced entry
  • Vehicle Tampering - vandalizing or tampering with a motor vehicle

These reports can only be filed online if:

  • This is not an emergency, or an actively in-progress crime
  • The incident occurred within CMPA's jurisdiction, which is the Town of Corte Madera, City of Larkspur, or the Town of San Anselmo
  • There are no known suspects
  • There is no physical evidence left at the scene, other than video surveillance
  • This did not occur on a State Freeway
