  VI.  BUSINESS ITEMS

 A.  Presentation of Proposed “Amendment to Sections 11.2(b) and 11.2(c) of the Amended Joint Powers Agreement dated January 1, 2013 by and Among the City of Larkspur, the Town of Corte Madera, and the Town of San Anselmo Creating the Central Marin Police Authority”

Recommendation: that Council receives presentation and discusses the proposed amendments prior to their presentation at future Town and City Council Meetings for passage.

B.  Presentation of the Actuarial Review of Worker’s Compensation and Outstanding Liabilities Funding Requirement of the Central Marin Police Authority for Fiscal Year 2017/2018.

Recommendation: that Council receives presentation and discusses the Actuarial Reviews. 

C.  Resolution 2017/16 - The Central Marin Police Council to set meeting schedule for 2018.

Recommendation: that Council discusses and approves Resolution 2017/16 on setting a schedule of Regular Police Council meetings for calendar year 2018.


The 2017 Central Marin Police Council regular meetings are scheduled to be held on February 2, May 4, August 3, and November 2, 2017 at 6:00 P.M. in the Community Room, 250 Doherty Drive, in Larkspur.

The Central Marin Police Council holds Special Meetings throughout the year as needed.

 In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, if you need special assistance to participate in this meeting, please contact the Central Marin Police Authority Clerk at (415) 927-5150. Notification at least 48 hours prior to the meeting will enable the Authority to make reasonable accommodations to help ensure accessibility to this meeting.    

Any writings or documents provided to a majority of the Central Marin Police Council regarding any item on this Agenda are available during normal business hours, for public inspection at the Central Marin Police Authority, 250 Doherty Drive, Larkspur, CA. Any reports that are provided after the posting of this Agenda and prior to the meeting will be made available at this same location simultaneously as it is provided to the Police Council.
